September has been brilliant. For a long time we have wanted to create puppets to use on the Let’s Do Drama website. We envisioned creating a Mini-Jules and Mini-Dave to use in podcasts and drama activity videos. Last weekend we took part in a puppet-making workshop run by Emma Boor from Wild Boor Ideas and our dream came true. You can read more about what we got up to in this month’s blog. Prepare to meet our two puppets, ‘Awe’ and ‘Wonder’, soon!
Good to know!
The History area is well on its way to being complete with plenty of drama/oracy activities for the various History topics. We have loved bringing the past to life when writing the activities.
September ‘26 Vodcast
In our September Vodcast we continue our ‘Drama Strategy Exploration’ series. In this episode we look at the Forum Theatre strategy. It is one of Dave’s favourites! It is such a great way to encourage children to try out ideas and explore possible alternative viewpoints.
