The PHSE area now has LOTS of drama/oracy activities in six main areas: Keeping Healthy; Keeping Safe; Friends, Family & Relationships; Values & Identity; Feelings; and Our World. This is such an important subject area so we hope your children gain a great deal from participating in the activities.
July ‘26 Vodcast
In our July Vodcast we bring you the fourth in the ‘Drama Strategy Series’ and in this episode we are looking at the Role on the Wall drama strategy. We start by explaining the process, we explore the benefits and then we model how this brilliant activity can be used in English. We work through an example of a character study using the role of Lyra from Phillip Pullman’s Northern Lights. Finally we discuss how Role on The Wall can be used across the curriculum.
What’s coming soon?
We are so pleased that the English, Science and PSHE sections are now up on the site. Next to come will be History and as you can imagine this has the potential to be a very drama-rich subject area. From the Romans to the Mayans, the Egyptians to the Vikings, the Victorians to the Greeks … it is going to be a blast!
